Calling all you high-achievers: want to learn the perfect technique for mixing your kencko? These hacks and tips will raise your smoothie game to the next level.
We call them instant smoothies because they’re pretty darn quick and easy to make. But if you want to know the failsafe way to get a perfect result, every time, we’ve got a few insider tricks up our sleeves. They are based on what we’ve learned over thousands of testings and tastings, and It’s time to share them with you.
FIVE WAYS TO MIX IT UP WITH THE PROS
-
CLUMPS ARE FOR CHUMPS
Let’s talk about clumps. As you know, ours is a completely natural product containing nothing but pure plant powders. Many other powdered drinks use additives such as rice flour or sunflower oil to stop them clumping; we don’t add anything. So before you open a kencko packet, give it a quick massage and a little shake before you open it, to get rid of any clumps.
-
ICE ICE BABY
We think our smoothies taste best chilled. We made the bottle neck nice and wide, so you could slip a few ice cubes into the bottle before you add the liquid and powder. Not only does that keep your smoothie at the perfect temperature, the ice cubes also help to mix the drink. Win/win.
-
AND...BREATHE
When you add the powdered fruits and veggies to the liquid, they start to rehydrate - absorbing all the moisture that we took out during the drying process and reawakening the fresh taste, color and aromas. So if you’re not in a crazy rush, give your smoothie a few minutes for the flavors and texture to fully develop.

SMOOTHIE WHIZZ?
Our mixer bottles are super-useful when you’re on the go, but if you don’t have one handy you can make a kencko smoothie in any bottle with a tight seal. On the other hand, when you’re at home with time on your hands, you can dust off the blender and jazz up your smoothie with all sorts of extra treats: frozen fruit, ice, and nut butter are some of our favorites. So get blending - and don’t forget to share your experiments with us on Instagram @kencko

SQUEAKY CLEAN
One final tip for the neat freaks: if you’re not washing your kencko bottle straight away, give it a quick rinse under the faucet before you stack it in the dishwasher. All that healthy natural fiber in our smoothies can leave tiny little bits behind, and they wash off more easily while they’re still wet.
